A recent post shows how the Winnipeg Jets made the worst trade in NHL history.

Jets Trade Draper

Recently, a post from @dailydosehockey on Instagram went over some of the most bizarre facts in NHL history.
Of the facts, it included how the Flyers have had four Conn Smyth winners but only two cups, how there was a game where the Rangers had zero shots, and how Bobby Hull recorded a 118-mile-per-hour slap shot.

However, in the post, it included the worst trade in NHL history.

Draper's Lengthy NHL Career

image

Draper played 1,157 career NHL games, 20 with the Jets and 1,137 with the Red Wings. While he was never much of a point producer, he was a defensive specialist who won the 2004 Selke trophy and was consistently playing against other teams' top players.
Draper had 364 career points and 361 with the Red Wings.
On top of that, he won four Stanley Cups with the Red Wings (1997, 1998, 2002, 2008). Draper is now currently an assistant GM in the Red Wings organization.
Not too shabby for 1 dollar (equal to roughly $2.11 adjusted for inflation).
