Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak and his home nation of Czechia have been excluded from the next major NHL event and Pastrnak has spoken out on the matter.

Pastrnak Takes A Stand Against The NHL's Four Nations Tournament

Over the weekend, the NHL announced that in place of an all-star game next season, they will be hosting a tournament between four nations: Finland, Sweden, Canada, and the USA.
Many other nations are represented in the NHL and the biggest is arguably Czechia, headlined by David Pastrnak. Following the announcement, Pastrnak decided to take a stand against the tournament by revealing he will not be watching because he and his countrymen were excluded.
"It's a huge disappointment. Definitely not happy about it," Pastrnak said. "I understand that it's a quick turnaround. It's next year. They probably didn't have much time to make it a bigger tournament."

He added, "But Czech isn't there. So it's always a lot of players left out, so I'm not gonna watch the tournament, to be honest. So just happy that the Olympics got accepted. Yeah, (it) definitely stings a little bit."
While this is unfortunate, Pastrnak will soon be able to get the opportunity to represent Czechia as NHLers will be allowed to compete in the 2026 Olympics and Czechia will look to return with a vengeance.
Till then, Pastrnak will continue to help the Bruins on their quest for the Stanley Cup and if he is able to pick up more hardware along the way representing his homeland then he will certainly take up the opportunity.
