Milan Lucic, a former power forward for the Boston Bruins, is unlikely to return to the NHL following his arrest for domestic violence last season.

According to reports online, Milan Lucic will not be rejoining the NHL after his arrest last year. Now 36, Lucic had signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract to return to the Boston Bruins but left the team after being arrested for a domestic violence incident after only four games.
Immediately following his arrest, the Boston Bruins announced that Lucic had been placed on indefinite leave and later into the Player Assistance Program. The charges were eventually dropped when his wife refused to cooperate with the investigation. However, she filed for divorce, an order of protection, and requested that Lucic not receive visitation rights to their children until he completes an alcohol rehabilitation program.
An insider on X, known for correctly breaking multiple stories in the past, has reported that Lucic will be held out of the league entirely this year. Although Lucic had hoped to return to an NHL team, his arrest and declining performance due to age have resulted in no interest from any team.
It looks like Milan Lucic's NHL career is over. He was struggling to keep up last season, and his arrest left him unwelcome back in Boston.

There has been no interest in him this summer, and he hasn't been connected to anyone via rumors. At 36, it's fair to say it's game over.
For a player once regarded as one of the best up-and-coming power forwards, Lucic's career has taken a significant downturn. This scandal may mark the end of his time in the NHL. The situation is regrettable, and the hope is that Lucic recognizes his need for help and works towards bettering himself in the long run.
