Edmonton Oilers franchise player Connor McDavid married his longtime sweetheart Lauren Kyle, but had one major rule in place for his guests at the wedding.
The guests attending Connor McDavid and Lauren's wedding had to follow very strict rules, and one of those was absolutely no phones allowed. No one was allowed to even take pictures at the wedding. At this very moment, there are still no photos to be found anywhere online of his wedding, so it appears that the guests did abide by this rule.
There have been a small amount of pictures showing what the venue looked like, however no one has been able to find any pictures or videos of any of the guests present, or anything of the actual ceremony.
It appears that the McDavid's wanted to keep their wedding very private and intimate. Over the years, fans of the game have learned that McDavid can get a little awkward around too many cameras or when too many questions are asked, so he likely didn't want to deal with anything like that. What a huge difference this was compared to when former Oilers franchise player Wayne Gretzky got married back in 1988, as the entire event was televised!
Regardless of whether any pictures and videos do eventually end up surfacing, the most important thing here is that the McDavid's are happy, healthy, and fans are sure looking forward to another spectacular season ahead.
