The Carolina Hurricanes once again dominated the regular season a year ago, but with another failed playoff run, it appears more changes could be on the way.
According to a recent rumour, there's the potential that star forward Tuevo Teravainen could be on the move soon, with links to his former club the Chicago Blackhawks.
While 2022-23 was a step back for Teravainen in terms of production with the Hurricanes, he's been fantastic for them in recent years, and if they are looking to move out cap space for a bigger move, this one makes total sense.
In seven years with the Hurricanes, Teravainen has played in 479 games, tallying 113 goals and 362 points, but if the team believe he has peaked and won't help them any further, making a move here is the right play.
