Corey Perry's Blackhawks tenure was quick, as it was revealed that he «engaged in conduct that is unacceptable, and in violation of both the terms of his standard player's contract and the Blackhawks' internal policies intended to promote professional and safe work environments", leading to a quick termination.
Given the nature of his termination, teams around the league weren't going to pick him up, with Perry believing his season was then over, but surprisingly, Elliotte Friedman has now revealed that he's clear to return.
What's not yet clear is whether or not a team will pick him up, but if NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman has cleared Perry to return, there's a good chance that several teams look into it.
