Chicago Blackhawks Release A Statement After Heartbreaking News Spreads Through The Team

A couple of days ago it was made public that Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Kevin Korchinski's father had passed away.

Kevin Korchinski had been away from the team due to a family emergency. Now it was announced his father had passed away. Since his father's passing the Blackhawks have come together to support Kevin.

The team also made a statement about the sad events that have taken place.

After the news became public about the passing of Larry Korchinski the Chicago Blackhawks put out a team statement.

The Blackhawks also were able to be in attendance for the services honoring and celebrating the life of Larry Korchinski. Several players mentioned how important it was to them to be there for Kevin during such a difficult time.
