Former professional Indy race car driver Zach Claman Demelo has accused newly signed Detroit Red Wings' forward Daniel Sprong of attacking him.

The Alleged Night Club Incident

Claman Demelo took to Instagram to accuse Daniel Sprong of attacking him in a night club, leaving him with a concussion and needing dental work. This is what he said:
During Grand Prix weekend I was at a night club with @detroitredwings @nhl player @sprong11. He grabbed my neck and pinned me on a wall, we were separated during that scuffle. After when I had believed the situation was over Daniel came back and sucker punched me in the face while I was defenceless.. The photos in the slide before is the after math of the incident. The dental work needed was brutal and I'm still not finished. I also sustained a concussion that l've been dealing with over the past few weeks.

If the allegations come to be true it is not a good look for Sprong.

Bad Look for the NHL

If these allegations are true this is not a good look for the NHL that is trying to rebuild its reputation. It is almost certain the Red Wings and Daniel Sprong will make a statement soon about these allegations.
This is certainly not how Sprong wanted to make his first impressions with his new team.
