For a player of Bouchard's caliber who will certainly improve over the next couple of years, we could see the Oilers get away with having an 8 figure player on their roster for less than $4 million.
Bouchard has a strong 2022-23 with 40 points in 82 games but he broke out in the playoffs with 17 points in 12 games. This was 3rd on the Oilers only to McDavid(20) and Draisaitl(18).
