Last night, as the Oilers were playing against the New York Islanders, Draisaitl was called for a two-minute tripping minor on Bo Horvat. The "trip" was an intentional cross-check to the back of the legs.
Today, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced a fine for Draisaitl.
