The Edmonton Oilers 2023-24 has started in the worst way possible, and now, after demoting Jack Campbell to the AHL, they're very much in the market for goaltending help.
A Boston Bruins star has the Oilers on his no-trade list
While fans and analysts have been quick to link them to Bruins star Linus Ullmark, it has now been revealed that it's very likely that his no-trade list includes the Edmonton Oilers.
This is a major blow for the Oilers, as Ullmark is the type of player that could immediately come in and help them turn their season around, but it now appears as though they will need to look elsewhere for goaltending help.
Many more options for the Edmonton Oilers
No other goaltender out there can match the 2022-23 Vezina Trophy winner for numbers this season, but with the likes of Jacob Markstrom, Jordan Binnington, Dan Vladar and other intriguing names available, the options are there for the Oilers.
Ultimately, the Oilers may look to continue with Stuart Skinner if they can't find a solidified No. 1 goaltender on the trade market, but if they are continuing to search for a deal, you can likely take the Bruins off the list as a trade partner.
