Connor McDavid Has Hilarious Reaction to Reporter Asking Him About Jack Hughes Comparisons to Wayne Gretzky

The Edmonton Oilers took on the New Jersey Devils last night, which saw the game's greatest active player Connor McDavid take on one of the best emerging players in Jack Hughes. Hughes is having an incredible rise to stardom, and has 38 points in just 26 games this year for the Devils.

As he comes more into the limelight for his talents, McDavid was asked about the comparisons he is garnering between Hguhes and Gretzky, and his reaction was hilarious.

While the reaction was obviously not verbal, the question seemed to take McDavid off guard, which is funny when anyone is compared to the greatest NHL player of all time.

It seemed like McDavid was able to prove he is still the best active player in the NHL right now, as he and the Oilers were able to shut down the Devils and win 6-3 last night.

Hughes was unable to record a point in the game, while McDavid had 1 goal and 1 assist in the game.
