The Edmonton Oilers have revealed the fate of forward Adam Henrique for Game 6 after he has been dealing with an injury.

The Oilers find themselves in a must-win Game 6 tonight against the high-powered Vancouver Canucks. Adam Henrique is one of the best defensive forwards that the Oilers have on their roster. However, tonight it seems the team is preparing to play without him in Game 6.
Adam Henrique will not be available for game six.

I do expect Sam Carrick to play. #Oilers #Canucks
Instead, Sam Carrick will draw into the lineup and try to fill that defensive role against the Canucks. Both he and Adam Henrique came to Edmonton together in a three-team trade at the deadline.
In 16 regular season games for the Oilers this season Sam Carrick put up 5 points. This will be his 4th playoff game of this season so far he has one assist. If Sam Carrick is hoping to help his team pull off a win he will need to lean more into the defensive strengths of his game in the time he gets.
The Edmonton Oilers will need to find ways to offset the drop-off with Adam Henrique out of the lineup. This could mean seeing a lot more of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl than we already do on a nightly basis.

Potentiel major turnaround for Henrique ahead of game 6

According to Frank Seravalli Henrique could slot back in for Perry.
Stay tuned, and we will provide updates as they come in.
