On Friday Evander Kane had a fantastic game and in the process broke one of Wayne Gretzky's franchise records with the Edmonton Oilers. This record-breaking performance will now mean that Kane will be remembered forever for his contributions to the Edmonton Oilers.

Kane Dominates Against The Anaheim Ducks

Last night Evander Kane entered the Oilers game on the verge of history. With a terrific performance against the Ducks, he achieved a milestone passing The Great One Wayne Gretzky.
In last night's contest, Kane went off and scored a hat trick against the Ducks.
In doing so Kane led his team to a 5-3 victory. Beyond the win Kane cemented himself in Edmonton Oilers history just ahead of Gretzky in an impressive category.

Kane Breaks A Big Time Gretzky Record

With his hat trick, Evander Kane is now up to five hat tricks with the Oilers in his career. This is significant because he has gotten to this milestone in such a short amount of time.
Kane only needed 130 games to obtain his five-hat trick milestone. This passes the previous Oilers record set by Wayne Gretzky at 136 games.
