The Edmonton Oilers will have to go into Game 7 against the Vancouver Canucks without their seasoned forward, Adam Henrique.

Coach Kris Knoblauch confirmed the tough news that Henrique will be sidelined due to an ankle injury, which has been nagging him since Game 3 of the series. In the few games he did play, he managed to notch a couple of points, but unfortunately, he won't be able to lace up for this season-defining matchup.
The 34 year-old forward was brought in from the Anaheim Ducks alongside center Sam Carrick during the trade deadline. Speaking of Carrick, he got his chance to shine in Game 6, stepping in for Corey Perry as a healthy scratch. It's unclear if that'll happen again in the series finale
Yet it's not just the Oilers feeling an absence. Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman revealed that Canucks' star forward Brock Boeser is grappling with a blood-clotting issue. Thankfully, it's not life-threatening. Still, it's a big blow for Vancouver, considering the 27 year-old starred for them to the tune of a 40 goal, 73 point season and seven goals, 12 points, including a hat trick in the playoffs and is the longest tenured Canuck on the roster. He has been waiting for moments like these for eight years, but now has to watch from the press box.
With Game 7 looming large, both teams are gearing up for a final classic battle. So, clear your schedule and tune in to Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ or ESPN at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT to catch every heart-pounding moment!
