The Edmonton Oilers finally solved Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Bobrovsky had been a wall in net until this game, where he surrendered 5 goals on just 16 shots and was pulled in the Panthers 8-1 loss to the Oilers. Prior to Game 4, the Oilers managed only 4 goals in the first three games.
Bobrovsky has been stellar this postseason, putting himself in line for the Conn Smyth Trophy. However, Edmonton proved he has a glaring vulnerability: high shots. Of the 38 goals he's allowed these playoffs, 31 have been high.
This is a significant pattern, and the Oilers need to keep targeting that area to turn the series around. Shooting high forces Bobrovsky into difficult saves or allows for rebounds.
Known for his agility, Bobrovsky excels at stopping low shots and hasn't given up any through the 5-hole. The Oilers are the first team this postseason to chase him from the net, indicating they're figuring out how to beat him.
After the tough Game 4, Bobrovsky's save percentage in the playoffs dipped to .909 and his goals-against-average dropped to 2.27. Despite facing a barrage of shots, he managed to steal several games for the Panthers earlier in the series, including his shutout in Game 1. However, the Oilers' outburst shows they could be solving the puzzle just in the nick of time to save their season.
If the Oilers can keep exploiting Bobrovsky's high shot weakness, they could win Game 5 on Tuesday and send the series back to Alberta for Game 6. If it's a one-off, the Panthers will be crowned Stanley Cup champions for the first time in franchise history.
