Matthew Tkachuk Wants To Play With His Brother In The Near Future

These two goals are what would likely be the pinnacle for any combination of brothers in professional sports. The Tkachuks have not yet played together at the men's level for Team USA but thanks to a new announcement it could happen.

The NHL recently announced that they have made progress toward a return to international hockey. There is a plan to return both to a World Cup of Hockey style tournament as well as the Olympics.

The United States is looking to become the biggest powerhouse in modern international hockey. In the past, the United States and Russia formerly known as the USSR have been the juggernauts of international hockey. With the creation of the USA National Team Development Program (USNTDP) the United States has brought several superstars to the game in recent years.

Americans like Jack Eichel, Auston Matthews, all of the Hughes Brothers, and of course Matthew, and Brady Tkachuk came from the USNTDP. During his recent interview, Matthew commented on his time at the USNTDP.

All hockey fans are ecstatic about the return of NHL players to international hockey. The Americans and all of the other international powerhouses will finally be able to battle at full strength. Then we can finally see who the current best country in the world is when it comes to hockey.
