Florida Panthers fans, were all set to celebrate a huge moment the Stanley Cup Champions ring ceremony scheduled for Monday night at Amerant Bank Arena.

But Hurricane Milton had other plans. The team announced on Sunday that, out of caution for everyone's safety, they had to cancel the public ceremony due to the hurricane approaching the Florida coastline.
It's a bummer, especially after the excitement of winning their maiden Stanley Cup! The team mentioned that the ceremony would take resources away from first responders
during this critical time, so they made the tough call to hold the ring distribution privately instead.
As this event would take resources from first responders and service providers, we have made the tough decision to cancel our Champions Ring Ceremony out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all involved.

Panthers President and CEO Matt Caldwell reassured the season opener against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday where the banner will be raised to the rafters is still on, so fans can look forward to kicking off the season right.
Yet while there may be no ring display, it won't stop reliving the feeling when their boys conquered the Edmonton Oilers in seven thrilling games to win it all in June.
For those of you who purchased tickets for the ring ceremony,
fully refund tickets at points of purchase . Plus, it's great to see that the Panthers Foundation is continuing to support the United Negro College Fund Fort Lauderdale and the United Way of Broward County's Mission United.
While they'll miss the public celebration, fans will still flock to the rink in droves throughout the season to see their team hit the ice and defend their championship.
