An employee of the Florida Panthers was fired by the team after he leaked the new center ice logo before the club was able to make an official announcement.

Talk show host Andy Slater on FoxSports640 has just revealed that an employee of the Florida Panthers has been fired after he accidentally, or purposely, leaked the new center ice logo of the team.
Host of the FLA Cats Hockey Podcast who goes by the name of David R on X posted a photo of the new ice, although we do not know currently if he is the one who initially took the picture, or if he is simply posting it on his page.
Some fans were quick to criticize the Panthers, saying it was unnecessary for them to fire someone over a simple, possibly honest mistake.
The Panthers aren't the only team that is changing up their center ice logo, as the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks have both decided to do full center ice logos as well.
Hopefully the Florida Panthers can rethink their decision of firing the employee and offer him another shot at redemption. After all, it's not a great look for a team who just won the Stanley Cup.
This isn't the first time the Florida Panthers have been involved in a scandal regarding one of their personnel. Who can forget the infamous time that their head coach Gerard Gallant was fired while on the bus, only to be left by the team on the side of the road with all of his luggage...
