Tonight Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov pulled off one of the nicest plays you will see all season. The assist made by Barkov comes in a crucial game against the New York Rangers.
Barkov Pulls Off The Play Of The Year Against The Rangers
In the second period against the New York Rangers Aleksander Barkov did what he does best and got fans out of their seats.
Barkov received a rolling puck pass from a teammate. He then tapped it up to himself multiple times before batting the puck out of the air over to his teammate Sam Reinhart who shoveled the puck into a basically empty net.
Much of this season his Panthers teammate Sam Reinhart has been getting attention for his insane goal-scoring pace. However, today it is time for Barkov to get his recognition for the amazing plays he can make with his hands, passing, and high hockey IQ.
Thanks to the dynamic duo of Barkov and Reinhart who each have two points the Panthers find themselves tied 2-2 as the third period has just begun.
