Dvorak was injured about 75% into last season and got surgery to fix his injury. However, despite having months to recover, Dvorak has remained out.
Since entering the NHL, Dvorak has been generally the same player. A 30-40 point guy who brings a great defensive game. He is considered a high-end 3C/low-end 2C but on a Canadiens team as weak as it is, he is a consistent top-six force.
Despite waiting months before getting cleared, the Canadiens will remain hopeful that they have their 2C heal up before the start of the season and if he does, he will be able to help the Canadiens get out of the bottom of the Atlantic.
