Two Montreal podcasters refused to show any sympathy towards the tragic passing of Johnny Gaudreau after their disgusting comments circulated online.
On "The Sick Podcast," hosted by Grant McCagg and Shayne Gaumond, their disturbing discussion about the tragic deaths of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau drew a lot of criticism from those in the media. The attempt to make these losses out to be the result of a decision while drafting by a team cries out for a cease from irrelevant and insensitive behavior.
Accordingly, trying to justify such an event, was dearly very alarming to most of those listeners who thought their words were a great catalyst for retaliatory actions. Highly offensive in nature were the comments, and there was a storm of criticism against them. That episode has been pulled from all platforms since then, but neither McCagg nor Gaumond has issued any public apology or retraction for their comments.
It will be interesting to see what further backlash or consequences they face for their disgusting attitudes, and fans of the game will be eagerly awaiting updates.
