The St. Louis Blues have just announced that Torey Krug is undergoing surgery to address an injury he suffered last season. He will miss all season.

The St. Louis Blues announced on Monday that defenceman Torey Krug will miss the entire 2024-25 season as he prepares to undergo surgery on his left ankle. The procedure must be done in order to treat pre-arthritic conditions on the left ankle that have proven not to be responding to non-surgical treatments.
Torey Krug, 33, signed with the Blues as a free agent in October 2020. The defenseman had spent the previous nine seasons with the Boston Bruins, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2012. The Livonia, Michigan native appeared in 77 games last season, logging 39 points including 35 assists, four goals, and 32 penalty minutes.
In four seasons with the Blues, Torey Krug has accumulated 146 points and 154 penalty minutes in 255 games. For his entire NHL career, he has 483 points on 89 goals and 394 assists with 374 penalty minutes in 778 regular-season games.
