Prayers and positive thoughts have been abundant for Martin St. Louis and his family after he recently announced his indefinite departure from his role as the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens. With so many fans worried after David Savrd's slip-up in a recent interview, recent discoveries may now calm down the fears all fans had for St. Louis' son.
Lucas St. Louis Appears In Game Amidst Public Concerns
Though this announcement of Martin St. Louis' departure came as an emotional surprise for all Montreal fans, everyone seemed to rally around wishing the best for the health of this former head coach's son. Yet, despite this major concern held by fans of the team, St. Louis' son Lucas remained in the Dubuque Fighting Saints' lineup in last night's game in Muskegon.
While this only shows the health of a third of St. Louis' sons, it likely shows that whatever is happening to Mason or Ryan will turn out just fine.
"On MSL: looks like his son Lucas played last night for Dubuque, hopefully it's a sign that whatever has happened to Mason or Ryan is not life-threatening."
Fans Demand Privacy For St. Louis Family
While all of us want what is best for Martin St. Louis and the health of his son, some fans are calling for the matter to be left in the dark. Many families have the luxury of dealing with health issues in private, but this has not been the case for the St. Louis family. With some NHL fans who root against the team making light of the situation, it seems like a perfectly reasonable ask.
Given this escalation of the matter, it begs the question of whether or not the NHL or other members thereof will make efforts to keep more information on departures private. Hopefully whatever comes of this will be an improvement for the well-being of all involved with the league.
