After another solid campaign split between the St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers, veteran forward Vladimir Tarasenko has found another home, and this time, he's heading up north.
Ottawa Senators
After moving Alex DeBrincat to the Detroit Red Wings, the Senators needed to find another weapon offensively to fill the void, and they've done so in Tarasenko, who has a career goal tally of 270.
In 2022-23, he had another stead season, combining for 18 goals between St. Louis and New York, and even at 31-years of age, he's still got plenty to offer.
A step forward for Ottawa?
With the likes of Claude Giroux, Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle, this is a team with plenty of veteran talent ready to make a big playoff push, with Tarasenko potentially a major piece of the puzzle.
The signing is yet to be confirmed by the Senators, but comes from a reliable source, and now, ahead of the 2023-23 season, another key free agent comes off the board.
