New York Rangers' enforcer Matt Rempe 22 year-old isn't afraid of the big boys. He declared if the opportunity arose, Milan Lucic of the Calgary Flames is the intended fighter.

That's a bold statement because, Lucic has over 70 fights under his belt in a 15-year NHL career.
Rempe earned his chops this summer, spending a week taking «boxing» lessons from former NHL heavyweight Georges Laraque. He learned everything from how to remove an opponent's helmet, to getting the perfect grip on a jersey, to positioning himself to protect from punches. Laraque even taught him how to use his reach, throw an uppercut, and, most importantly, how to avoid getting hit. There was also a lecture on the mental side of fighting.
When Rempe, 6'9, 221 Ibs, squared off against the 6'2, 226-pound Ryan Reaves in Toronto last Winter, the-year-old showed some improved form.
He also scrapped with New Jersey Devils' enforcer, Kurtis MacDermid in the midst of a line brawl.
A Rempe Vs Lucic bout would be fun. Let's close our eyes and imagine the scene at Madison Square Garden.
Lucic gives Rempe a little shove, sparking the fight. Calm and calculated, waiting for Rempe to make the first move. Yet the youngster uses his reach and lands some quick jabs, which Lucic dodges.
Lucic responds with a right hook, but Rempe grabs his opponent's jersey and gives him an uppercut to the chin.
Yet just when Rempe seems in control, Lucic ducks under a swing and goes for a takedown. They hit the ice, and the refs quickly step in, breaking it up.
It seems like Rempe's training is paying off, but let's see if he's ready for the likes of Lucic. Hopefully this fantasy becomes a reality.
