The Carolina Hurricanes finally got their mojo back, scoring their first power-play goal in 17 tries against the New York Rangers in game 4. That win pushed them to a game 5 showdown at Madison Square Garden after a 4-3 victory.

Unfortunately, things took a dark turn after the game. Turns out, there was this nasty fan brawl outside the PNC Arena in Raleigh. One poor guy ended up flat on the ground, knocked out cold. It's all caught on video. You can see chaos all around while this guy's just lying there.
Playoffs always raise the emotions, but this? It's inexcusable. No matter what sparked the fight, it should've been avoided. Kudos to the folks in the video trying to hold the responsible party accountable and wait for the cops. We're all here to enjoy the game as fans of this beautiful game.
When the person throwing punches is supposed to be a fan of the team that's still leading 3-1 in the series and had railed off nine straight wins, including seven to start the playoffs, it's not a great look and doesn't represent Blueshirts nation.
That said, it was heartening to see people stepping up to help out someone in need, no matter the circumstances.
