New reports of a potential dispute between John Tortorella and this first-round draft pick could end up in the young star leaving Philly.
Frost Could Be On His Way Out of Philidelphia
Morgan Frost was the Flyers first-round pick back in 2017, and played his first full season with the club last year, recording 19 goals and 27 assists for 46 points. However, head Coach John Tortorella seems unconvinced of his abilities and has healthy-scratched the young center for 5 games in a row.
There was interest in Frost over the offseason from teams like the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators, however, the ask was too high. Now, however, it could be the time that Frost requests out.
"Tortorella's praise of Frost - even when he was playing his best - came off as grudging ... he didn't seem like he was ever fully sold on Frost."

Trade Value At Lowest Following 5 Healthy Scratches
If the cycle of scratches continues for Frost, Daniel Briere will have a more difficult time moving him as his trade value will continue to decline. At the same time, Frost's frustration and potential desire to leave will only go up the more he is scratched.
I think at the beginning the Flyers were telling the kid, 'patience, patience, patience.' (But) man it's tough to be patient (when you've been a healthy scratch five straight games)... To see this, you can understand it for a game or two, but not for five in a row.
I do think teams have started kicking around on this, saying 'ok, what's going on here?' ... But as of (now), there's nothing really enticing for them.
Do you think Frost will get more ice time in the coming games? Or will he end up requesting a trade?
