John Tortorella Shares his Brutal Opinion of Cutter Gauthier
The renowned head coach John "Torts" Tortorella, once again made peculiar comments after the Flyers' 4-1 loss to the Penguins.
Torts Make Brutally Honest Comments on Gauthier
Cutter Gauthier, drafted 5th overall by the Flyers in 2022 was traded after he openly shared that he didn't want to be a part of the organization.
The Flyers' head coach was asked to comment on Cutter Gauthier's trade by the to the Anaheim Ducks.
Talking about Gauthier, he said:
"I don't know Cutter from a hole in the wall."
Tortorella Talks About the Acquisition of Drysdale
In the interview, his comments were particularly focused on the acquisition of
Jamie Drysdale.
"We're really excited about the opportunity. a 21-year-old right-handed shot. Put him on the power play right away, one of them. He's just starting. Kid's head's spinning right now. It's his first time at this. But we're really excited about the opportunity. I think it's a really good deal for us."
Drysdale already 123 NHL games under his belt with the Ducks. He has shown a lot of promise, tallying 45 points despite dealing with a lot of injuries.
There's no doubt that Drysdale can be a part of the Flyers for a long time. With the way the team has been performing this season, he could play a valuable role in the team's potential playoff push.
Both players have the potential to be game-changer assets for their organizations. We can't wait to see how things play out for them.
