Travis Konecny could be on the move and to a city quite familiar to him.

Konecny Linked To Senators

Travis Konecny is undoubtedly the Flyers' number-one forward. He is coming off a 31-goal and 61-point season where he only played 60 games. This translates to a 42-goal and 83-point pace which is quite impressive.
However, he may be on the move after Philly enters a rebuild which does not appear to fit Konecny's prime window. Due to this, they may consider trading him and fans are marking one spot as the prime Konecny destination.
Konecny played junior hockey with the Ottawa 67's of the OHL.

Ottawa's championship window will also be opening up right around Konecny's prime with young stars like Tim Stutzle, Brady Tkachuk, and Jake Sanderson all still developing further.

Mock Trade

To OTT:
Travis Konecny
To PHI:
Shane Pinto
2024 1st round pick (the worse of Ottawa's two picks)
Ottawa would get their elite winger who replaces Alex DeBrincat and one who is familiar with the city and loves it.
The Flyers would be getting Shane Pinto, a promising young player who was the 32nd pick in 2019, and a first-round pick they could use whichever way they please.
Pinto is coming off of his first full NHL season where he scored 20 goals and 35 points as a 22-year-old.
