Pittsburgh Penguins GM Kyle Dubas is reportedly closing in on a trade that would see 1000-game NHL veteran Lars Eller shipped out in return for a top-nine forward.
Dubas has been receiving several calls from around the league from other GM's inquiring about the services of Lars Eller. The Penguins would likely need a top-nine forward in return to replace Eller's reliability on their roster.

Eller recorded 178 goals and another 224 assists through his NHL career in the 1036 games he has played. He was very reliable for the Penguins last season, icing his skates in all of the team's 82 games, where he put up 15 goals and 16 assists. A player that comes to mind that Dubas will try and acquire is forward Ondrej Kase.
Multiple teams continue to show interest in Ondřej Ka�e, who spent last season playing at home in Czechia.
