This off-season has been a wild one so far between the NHL Draft and free agency, but for the Pittsburgh Penguins, they've done little beyond the signings of Anthony Beauvillier and Blake Lizzotte. Now however, they've been linked to veteran winger Vladimir Tarasenko, coming off a 23 goal season and another Stanley Cup that would give them major scoring punch alongside Sidney Crosby.
Adding Tarasenko may not drastically change their chances at chasing a Stanley Cup Playoff spot in a loaded Eastern Conference, but with Kyle Dubas and this veteran core still chasing a Stanley Cup, this is the obvious type of move to make. It's unclear yet what has happened with this situation, but given the mutual interest between the two parties and the potential to play alongside Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang, it would be a fantastic opportunity for both.
