The Tampa Bay Lightning have extended one of their core pieces to a two-year deal.

Lightning Sign Jeannot

Last trade deadline, the Tampa Bay Lightning traded away Cal Foot and a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th round pick in exchange for Tanner Jeannot.
Today, they signed Jeannot to a two-year deal per insider Elliotte Friedman.
Jeannot was lackluster in Tampa seeing him score only 4 points in 23 regular season and playoff games. He will look to bounce back to his 2021-22 form where he scored 24 goals and assisted on 17 others for a point total of 41 points.

The contract is two years with an AAV of $2.665 million.
