Unfortunately for Giordano, things aren't quite that easy, as the blue liner remains unsigned with the 2024/25 season just two months away, but given his ability to play 46 games this past year, he's shown that he can still contribute at the NHL level. After Toronto brought in
Oliver Ekman-Larsson and
Chris Tanev this off-season, there's no room for him on the Maple Leafs blue line, but with many teams likely looking for a veteran that can play a depth role and provide leadership, he'll likely find his way onto a roster at some point this season.
