Woll's performance against the Rocket was nothing short of impressive, demonstrating that his time away from the NHL has not diminished his abilities. With a save percentage of 0.973 and a goals-against average of 1.00, he made a compelling case for his NHL return.
As we speculate on Woll's role with the Leafs, his recent AHL performance certainly positions him as a strong contender for the starting goalie position ahead of the playoffs.
