The Utah Hockey Club landed two key defensemen on the trade market during the draft, including Mikhail Sergachev!
In breaking news, the Utah HC's blue line just got a lot better.
They traded JJ Moser, Conor Geekie and two draft picks to the Tampa Bay Lighning for defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.
Later, they sent two picks to the New Jersey Devils for John Marino and another pick.

A few minutes later, they completed a trade with the Devils, sending the 49th pick and the Oilers' 2nd round pick in 2025 for John Marino and the 153rd pick.
