The NHL's newest team, the Utah Hockey Club, concluded their first round with a press conference with GM Bill Armstrong.
In this interview, they talked about picking Tij Iginla at sixth overall, son of hockey legend Jarome Iginla, a powerful sniper from the WHL, and athletic center Cole Beaudoin later in the first round. During this, Bill Armstrong made a big error.
Instead of referring to the players as members of the Utah Hockey Club, Bill Armstrong seemingly revealed the team name, calling them the Utah Yetis.
The Yetis have been a favorite since the franchise was announced in April, competing with names like the Outlaws and Venom, but it seems the Yetis have emerged victorious.
