Utah Hockey Club scores in own net

Utah Hockey fans, congratulations on your first goal in franchise history.

In their preseason opener against the St. Louis Blues, Milos Keleman found the back of the net, just not in the way they hoped. He accidentally scored an own goal during a delayed penalty. It appears you can take the team out of the Arizona Coyotes, but it appears some of that Yotes spirit stuck around!
Of course, the Blues' social media team was quick to jump on it, congratulating Utah on their first-ever goal in franchise history.
Luckily, redemption was just around the corner. A few minutes later, Michael Carcone scored on a 2-on-0 break, officially putting the puck in the right net!
Sure, it's just preseason, and we know the real excitement starts on October 8th against the Chicago Blackhawks.
But it's all part of the journey, and hockey fans can chuckle about it. Here's to more memorable moments ahead! Welcome to the NHL Utah!
