Yesterday it was announced that former Vancouver Canucks prospect Connor Lockhart was facing an indefinite suspension due to being involved in a police investigation.
Lockhart Suspended Indefinitely For Police Investigation
Connor Lockhart, a former top Vancouver Canucks prospect, was indefinitely suspended by the OHL due to a pending police investigation.
On February 6, 2024, the Oshawa Generals and the Ontario Hockey League were made aware that one player, Connor Lockhart, is under investigation by Durham Regional Police Service. He has been indefinitely suspended by the team and the League until the matter is resolved.
It is unknown what Lockhart has done thus far but given the nature of the manner, it will be handled with extreme care.
Last offseason Lockhart, originally a 2021 6th-round pick of the Canucks, did not reach a contract agreement resulting in Lockhart becoming an unrestricted free agent.
He returned to the OHL this past year and has been producing at a solid rate for the Oshawa Generals.
