The New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals opened game one of the first round this Sunday afternoon and the Rangers came out flying from all cylinders with a dominant 4-1 win over the wildcard Capitals. At the end of the match, Trevor Van Riemsdyk started going after the Rangers players one by one in a show of frustration.

Here's the clip of it happening on Hockey Patrol via Instagram:

The action by TVR is justified given the lack of play and intensity shown by the Washington Capitals who are playing against president trophy winners NY Rangers. Perhaps he's trying to send a message to the Rangers saying that they are ready for next game and won't be used as a stepping stool despite the embarrassing loss.
The Washington Capitals have to improve going into game number two or else their so called miracle run to the playoffs will end very quickly against the powerhouse New York Rangers.
