The Winnipeg Jets have been off to a surprisingly great start halfway through the 2023-24 season, and while their offence has been fantastic, it's their blue line play and stellar work in net that has led the way.

A stunning Jets streak comes to an end

On Monday night however, the team fell to the Boston Bruins 4-1, and with that saw one of their incredible streaks come to a halt.
For the first time in 35 games, the Winnipeg Jets gave up more than three goals, and while the fourth goal came with an empty net in the Jets end, it's unfortunately the end of that incredible run.
The Jets' streak of holding an opponent to three goals or less ended following their 4-1 loss to the Bruins.

What a run. 👏

Against one of the top teams in the league in the Bruins, giving up three goals and an empty-netter is nothing to be ashamed of, but it's very likely that Connor Hellebuyck and Laurent Brossoit are already looking to start a new streak.
With a 30-11-4 record on the season, the Jets are better than anyone could have expected, and with a slight lead in the Central Division, if their offence can catch up to the rest of their play, this may end up being a genuine Stanley Cup contending team.
