In breaking news, a massive update on Kyle Connor's future return has just been revealed at the Jet's optional skate this morning.
Kyle Connor Seen in Regular Jersey At Optional Skate
Kyle Connor has been dealing with a lower-body injury since December, after colliding with Ducks' forward Ryan Strome. While his return is not set for anything imminent, he has been skating with the team in non-contract jerseys recently during practice.
Now, that has seemingly changed. During an optional pre-game skate today, Connor was seen in a regular practice jersey.
It's an optional morning skate for the #NHLJets, but Kyle Connor is on the ice in a regular jersey 👀
This would be a huge progression in Connor's injury status, as he wasn't expected to return for 6-8 weeks from the time of the injury, and it has only been 4 weeks.
This is great news for Jets fans, however, they must be sure not to rush Connor back and risk further injuring him, especially when they are on such a hot streak and his services aren't necessarily necessary.
