The Winnipeg Jets have been on a tear lately, finding themselves in first place in the Central Division, and now, it appears that a major boost may be on the way.
Kyle Connor returns to the ice
After missing an extended time for Winnipeg, veteran star Kyle Connor is reportedly back on the ice today ahead of a much anticipated return for the red-hot Jets.
#NHLJets practice doesn't officially start for another 20 minutes, but Kyle Connor is already on the ice in a regular jersey working with Gabriel Vilardi.

This doesn't yet confirm when Connor's return to a game will be, but it's a huge step towards that milestone, and given how well they've performed defensively, getting a huge offensive weapon back makes this team even tougher to stop.
In 26 games for the Jets this year, Connor has tallied 17 goals and 28 points, and with their deep forward group, if he can come in and be the star he has been for years, this team is a genuine threat in a crowded Western Conference.
