Today the Winnipeg Jets announced that defenseman Declan Chisholm has been assigned to Manitoba in the AHL for a conditioning stint. Chisholm had been out all season with a lingering injury.
TRANSACTION: The #NHLJets have loaned D - Declan Chisholm to the Manitoba Moose (AHL) for conditioning purposes.
Chisholm had a breakout season in the AHL last year with 43 points in 59 games. With Chisholm only being assigned on a conditioning stint this likely means he is in line to return to the NHL soon.
Chisholm has 2 NHL appearances but will still be looking for his first point when he gets his next NHL opportunity.
