Elliotte Friedman Provides Major Insight Into The Jets
Elliotte Friedman recently gave his thoughts on the Jets and the upcoming season, and his comments are interesting.
Friedman Thinks The Jets Could Do Well, But Might Not
The Winnipeg Jets have had a turbulent offseason, to say the least. With rumours swirling that star players want out and demanding trades, they faced a lot of outside noise during the summer.
However, the recent extension of both
Mark Scheifele and Connor Hellebuyk has surely given the Jets a newfound spark before the season. The question is, whether that spark is enough.
Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele are now under contract in Winnipeg through 2030-31. Both have a chance to be lifelong #NHLJets.
On the 32 Thoughts podcast, Elliotte Friedman had the following insight about the Jets' upcoming season.
Friedman on the Winnipeg Jets (32TP): "It could go very well, but I also could see a situation where it doesn't. I think generally overall this team feels better about itself than it did at the end of last season, there were a lot of storm clouds over the team"
Jets Hopeful that the Storm has Cleared Prior to the Season
Friedman is correct, the Jets finished last season with a disappointing first-round exit and were mired with controversy throughout the season like Blake Wheeler being stripped of his captaincy.
Blake Wheeler no longer Jets captain??
With everything we've heard about how toxic Winnipeg's locker room is, I kinda like this 👀
With the new season up ahead, Jets fans can be hopeful that the storm of the offseason is over, and the sky is clear for takeoff.
