Despite those moves, the blue line didn't change much from last season, and as a result, the Jets sit bottom-five in the league in terms of goals allowed, and it doesn't look to be improving anytime soon.
Ultimately, it's unclear what the Jets could have got for any of those players on the trade market, but given what they saw defensively a season ago from those veterans, a move needed to be made, and now the team look like they will have to rush a move here to get Capobianco into the lineup, as he has six points through four games this year.
