A Winnipeg Jet has given the city the ultimate compliment by stating he wants to stay there his entire NHL career.

Stanley Gives The Ultimate Compliment

After signing his extension with the Winnipeg Jets, defenseman Logan Stanley gave the city of Winnipeg and the Jets franchise the ultimate compliment.
"I'd Love to Play There My Whole Career" - Logan Stanley
While many other players are searching for a departure from the franchise, Stanley has shown his commitment and gratefulness to be a Winnipeg Jet.

Does Winnipeg Want Stanley?

This is a rather difficult question to answer. Stanley was originally drafted in the first round of the 2016 draft but has yet to truly establish himself.
At a towering 6'7" and 242 lbs, Stanley is a physical defenseman known for his aggressiveness on the ice.
However, it seems as if Winnipeg is losing hope in Stanley. He played his first games with the team in 2020-21 where he played 38 total games which is respectable for his first season, especially considering how it was COVID-shortened. The next season was similar with 58 total games and even better scoring numbers.
Last year was a terrible year for Stanley. He only got into 19 games with the Jets and it was a sharp decline from his 2021-22 campaign and has fans worried. He got a one-year prove-it contract from the Jets this offseason but if he does not turn around, his desired career in Winnipeg may come to an end.
