On Monday, the team saw Declan Chisholm, a talented young 24-year old claimed by the Minnesota Wild to no one's surprise, and now, their fans are targeting a different player.
Instead of Chisholm, who has shown potential in the AHL (91 points in 146 games), the team would have been much better off waiving Logan Stanley, who has yet to prove his worth as a former first-round draft pick at any level.

In 121 games for the Jets over the past four years, Stanley has tallied just 3 goals and 20 points, and their loyalty goes back years, with the team opting to protect him over Dylan DeMelo in the 2021 Seattle Kraken expansion draft.
It's tough to see exactly why the Jets like Stanley so much beyond his size, with the player even requesting a trade at last years trade deadline, so if they are to take the next step and become a consistent winner, this is the type of decision they need to start getting right.
