Recently Kyle Connor went down with a devastating injury. The Winnipeg Jets remain a team with massive goals for this season despite his absence. This means the team will need to step up despite the massive holes left in the lineup by Connor.

Connor Suffers Brutal Injury

Recently Kyle Connor was injured on a nasty knee-on-knee hit from Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Strome.
Connor did not return to the game and has not played since. After further testing, it was announced that Connor is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with the injury he suffered.
This means the Jets will now have to stay afloat despite losing one of their biggest-producing players. Today reports have suggested who could step up in his absence.

New Report Suggests Who Will Fill In For Connor

A new report has confirmed that the Winnipeg Jets have called up Dominic Toninato to replace Connor's absent spot in the lineup.
While Toninato is a competent NHL player he will not be able to replace Connor one-for-one. This means players like Cole Perfetti, Nikolaj Ehlers, and Mark Scheifele will all need to step their game up to fill the gaps.
The Jets currently sit third in the Central Division. They will need to keep winning to keep pace in the playoff race despite the massive absence of Connor.
