The Winnipeg Jets 4-3-1 start to the season has them optimistic about a potential playoff run in 2023-24, and now, one of their top prospects is off to a high-flying start this year too.
The 19-year old made his debut in North America last season, tallying 38 points in 26 games with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL, but when he made the jump to the AHL, he managed just 3 points in his first 14 games.
The Finland native has turned a corner in 2023-24 however, notching 4 goals and 9 points in his first six games this season, giving the Jets yet another versatile prospect for the future.
It's unlikely he makes the NHL in a big role this season, with their forward group possessing plenty of depth, but if he continues this hot start, the Jets may have themselves yet another home grown star to contribute to the future of this team.
